King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation and Mawhiba Foundation
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Foundation for Humanitarian Activities, was established following a decision by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may ALLAH rest his soul—on 29 Ramadan 1431 AH. The foundation aims to support education and knowledge, develop capabilities and skills, and collaborate with innovative and impactful initiatives. These objectives align closely with those of King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba).
In 1435 AH, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may Allah rest his soul – issued a royal decree to regulate the relationship between the entities he established or contributed to establish. As a result, "Mawhiba" became one of the endowment entities affiliated with the foundation. Both foundations share a common goal of supporting education and knowledge, discovering and nurturing gifted individuals, and helping Saudi youth develop their capabilities and skills to achieve sustainable development for society.

May it bring blessings into my life, for my offspring, my wealth, my parents, my wives, my children, and those in charge of it, as well as for all Muslims. In the reward of my endowment, I include my parents, my siblings, my children, my wives, my relatives, and every citizen, both male and female."
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may ALLAH rest his soul, was dedicated to ensuring the sustainability of the Mawhiba Foundation and its ability to fulfill its mission. To this end, he issued a decision to allocate an endowment that would secure the foundation's continuity and support for future generations. His commitment stemmed from his belief in the importance of discovering and nurturing talent and creativity in the Kingdom. This initiative underscored his determination to build a prosperous future for the nation.
