"Mawhiba" Signs Cooperation Agreement with UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education to strengthen joint efforts in the fields of education and academic excellence.

The agreement was signed by the Acting Secretary-General of Mawhiba, Dr. Khalid Al-Sharif, and the Director-General of the Center, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Madaris.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between both parties, exchange expertise in areas that contribute to building administrative and technical capacities, collaborate on developmental programs, research and studies, and exchange publications related to education and educational research. It also includes joint organization of conferences, workshops, research programs, and training activities.

It is noteworthy that the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education is one of the Category II centers affiliated with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) is a nonprofit endowment foundation dedicated to identifying and encouraging gifted students in accordance with the latest scientific educational practices related to giftedness and creativity, with the goal of building the leaders of the future.
